Tall Stories
On Friday the boys were visited by the Tall Stories theatre company. They watched the performance of a play called ‘The Snow Dragon’. The boys enjoyed the show and the songs. The boys are looking forward to performing their play this week !
Christingles
In RS the boys have been learning about different religious festivals. Last week we learnt about the festival of Christingle in which Christians will be celebrating this year on Sunday 3rd November. The boys learnt what the different parts of the Christingle symbolised.
They made their own Christingles.
Science Forces
The boys experimented with the force wind this week. They made snakes, windmills, and pushed objects using the force wind.
Isle of Struay
In our Literacy lessons the boys have been reading and writing about the book series Katie Morag. In Art they are creating their own island. Last week they created their island using papier-mâché, this week they painted the Isle of Struay. Next week we will add detail to our islands. Well done boys!
A Message from 1TD
In 1TD, we enjoy Maths and working in our Maths books. We also enjoy learning about History. We like Science and Geography. At the moment, we are learning about maps and flags and Katie Morag. Yesterday, we wrote about how our island and her island are similar and different. Yesterday, we learnt number bonds to 10,000!

Bonjour Madame Pomroy!
1G were fortunate to receive a visit from Mrs Pomroy, William’s mummy, on Friday morning. Mrs Pomroy visited as part of our language awareness programme, organised by Ms Jefferies who works in the Modern Foreign Languages department in the Senior School. Mrs Pomroy spoke and read French to the boys, whilst next door in 1TD Mrs Marwah was introducing the boys to Hindi.

Maths Happy Puzzle Work shop !
The boys were fantastic at working as a team. They enjoyed solving all the puzzles.
Science- Push and Pull fun !
In Science this half term we are learning about forces. We took the boys outside to experiment with the forces pushing and pulling.

Mad Science visited Pre Prep. The boys loved witnessing the amazing experiments!
