Thank you to the boys who have already brought in their Titanic rooms, they look amazing! It is great to see the attention to detail that has come from researching your rooms.

Science

The boys enjoyed going on a material hunt around the School. They then created Mr. Material and Little Miss Material for our science display. Still in progress……

In topic maths this week the boys learnt about tessellation. They created their own tessellations using complimentary colours. They are display on our classroom window.

In assembly today the senior LEOs spoke about the importance of adopting and sponsoring endangered animals around the world. By sponsoring the animals we are also saving the worlds natural habitats in which they live. Maurice showed the School Bongo the panda who he has adopted in China.

The boys enjoyed singing with their bears today in music ๐Ÿ™‚

Have a lovely weekend!

Happy New Year!

We hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The boys created a season tree this week in Art linked to our learning about the four seasons. They wet a canvas and layered different coloured tissue paper on top to colour the background.

They then painted a tree onto the four canvases.

Finally the boys added buttons to represent leaves of the season.

The boys enjoyed working as a team to write an acrostic poem about the four seasons. They enjoyed the challenging of thinking of words related to each season.

This term we are studying the Author Julia Donaldson. They boys painted some of the characters from her book as part of our English display.
