Have a lovely half term!

In Topic Maths this week. The boys were measuring objects in metres. They had fun using the trundle wheels to measure across and around the astro.

The boys enjoyed raising money today for the woodlands trust. It was great to see all their wild hair designs!

 

In Art this week the boys used oil pastels to create still life drawings of fruit.  

Inside out

Last Monday the boys had a lovely start to the week by eating their tasty breakfast together as a class. The boys each wore one piece of clothing inside out and we spoke about the importance of discussing how we are feeling.

Chinese New Year

Mrs McCartney came to speak with the boys about her travels to China. She showed them lots of artifacts from the country.

The boys enjoyed creating their own Chinese dragons.

The boys learnt about tessellation and created their own designs using this method.
