Toys!
On Wednesday afternoon Year 1 were lucky enough to have a visit from Miss Marychurch who works at Hertford Museum.
She brought in lots and lots of toys for the boys to play with and explore. They had to think about what they were made from and how they moved.
We found out about a little girl called Nelly whose grandfather opened the museum. The toys we played with were the sort of toys she would have had over 100 years ago!
It was great to have a ‘hands on’ experience, normally objects in a museum you can look but not touch!!!
The boys really enjoyed the experience.
Toy Homework Project
Just to let you know that as soon as your son has finished his project on toys he is more than welcome to bring it into school to share it with his teachers and peers alike
We are looking forward to seeing them

Learning our number bonds!
Today we started learning our number bonds. We started by finding number bonds of five and used dinosaurs, teddy bears, beads and pegs to do this!
