African fun

The boys dressed up in their wonderful African creations for our Pre Prep assembly this week. They spoke about Africa to the boys and sung ‘Can you feel the love tonight’ from the Lion King.

Thank you to everyone who baked and bought cakes from the cake stall raising money for Children In Need.

 

Well done to Eren who won a prize for such an amazing cake design! He made a cake of Pudsey Bear 🙂

This week we learnt about The Great Fire of London in Topic. We have continued to create our display about the past, present and future.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Flying back in time

The boys enjoyed learning about the Gunpowder Plot this week during our Topic lesson. They especially enjoyed acting out the story.

The boys had so much fun designing and creating a Class time machine. They are looking forward to having some wonderful adventures!

In Science this week we started our new topic about forces. They learnt about what a force is. The boys played with different pieces of equipment and identified if it required a push or pull force.

In RS we learnt and discussed ‘Remembrance Day’. They each created a wreath writing about someone they were thinking about who lived during the war.
