Year 2 Play Buddies
On Friday afternoon 1B were lucky enough to have 4 boys from Year 2 come down armed with board games to share and play with us.
The Year 2 boys were very mature and kind helping the Year 1 boys to understand the rules and how each game worked.
It was really enjoyed by both the Year 1 and Year 2 boys alike.
Gabi’s castle Project
On Friday morning Gabi very proudly brought in his model of a castle.
The boys have really enjoyed and fully immersed themselves in our topic this half term!
Rodney and Amber
On Friday morning 1B were lucky enough to meet two beautiful boxer dogs, Amber and Rodney. They were incredibly well behaved and were very cute.
We were told that Rodney was 8 years old and Amber was 3. They like going for walks and that they love to chase! We asked lots of questions which he handled well.
Amber has a longer tail than Rodney because as the Dad explained the law about docking tails has changed.
Rodney was a little greyer around the muzzle due to him being an ‘older’ dog!
Amber and Ruby
On Thursday afternoon one of 1B’s Mums very kindly brought in the adorable kittens Ruby and Amber.
We found out what they ate, where they slept and what they liked to do.
We learnt that a kitten stays with it’s Mum until they are 8 weeks old.
They were very well behaved and only Ruby escaped once!!!
